TEATRO DE LA PLAZA formed in 1983 in Buenos
Aires, Argentina, with a work repertoire based
on folkloric tales. It made tours by all the
country until the year 1986, in which their
members entered at the "Grupo de Titiriteros
del Teatro San Martín", where
worked with the team directed by the great
teacher Ariel Bufano until year 1991.
The company made several shows using different
techniques and combining actor´s theater
from glove puppets, black theater, diverse
shades and other techniques, specializing
in the animation of objects. In 2000 the company
moved to São Paulo, and since then
it is representing Brazil in different national
and international festivales
